Wood

To remove dust, use a soft, humid cloth. If necessary, use specific cleaning products for wood. Be very careful when cleaning the wood to avoid scratching the surface.

Don’t expose the furniture to direct sunlight. Direct exposure to the sun can alter the color of the wood and the varnish.

Never use solvents, products containing solvents, or aerosols, as they can damage the wood.

Marble and Stone

Remove dirt from marble or stone pieces with a soft, dry cloth. For stains caused by liquids or greasy substances, wipe immediately with an absorbent cloth and then clean the surface with a cloth dampened in warm water.

For stubborn stains, use a mild neutral soap or alcohol-free detergent.

All stains from a liquid substance should always be cleaned immediately to avoid permanent stains.

Don´t use products containing acetone, ammonia, chlorine or solvents, abrasives, and furniture polish, as they can permanently damage the surface of the product, leaving marks or making it appear opaque.

Glass and Mirrors

To remove dust, use only a damp cloth with glass cleaner or alcohol diluted in water and dry with a soft cloth. Be very careful when cleaning the glass to avoid scratching the surface.

Never use solvents, products containing solvents, or aerosols, as they can damage the glass.

Metal

Wash the surface with a clean cloth lightly dampened in mild detergent and warm water. Do not use chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as they may permanently damage the finish. Rinse thoroughly and dry with a soft, clean cloth. Do not use solvents or abrasive kitchen cleaners.

To remove finger marks, use a soft cloth dampened with isopropyl alcohol.

Wipe regularly with a soft, dry cloth.

To polish chrome or polished surfaces regularly, use metal polishing products to ensure durability.

Upholstery

Turn removable cushions frequently to promote even wear and increase the longevity of the piece. If the product feature doesn’t allow it, remove the cushions and spread them out so they don’t take shape where you sit more regularly.

Vacuum the upholstery weekly using a vacuum cleaner attachment specific for an upholstery to ensure greater comfort, strength, and durability.

An annual cleaning by a professional service that specializes in upholstery cleaning is recommended.

Take special care when spraying chemicals near the upholstered material.

To minimize fading and help keep the upholstery in good condition, avoid placing it in direct sunlight or near radiators and fireplaces.

Fabric

Use a clean, dry hand towel or cloth to brush the entire piece. Avoid using colored towels or sponges, as the paint can change the color of the upholstery.

Use clean, cold water to help clean tough spills. Never use hot water, as it tends to set stains.

Never use solvents or products containing solvents.

Leather

Wipe regularly with a dry cloth and vacuum using appropriate attachments to remove residual dust and prevent dirt build-up.

Leather furniture should be protected from exposure to sun and heat, as these can lead to the leather drying out and eventually cracking.

Do not use products intended for wooden furniture. They can permanently stain and damage the leather.

Don’t leave splashes sitting around for a long period of time as they can be absorbed. Prevent them from becoming stains by wiping them immediately with a clean, dry, white cloth.

Never use solvents or products containing solvents.

Velvet

Use a clean, soft cloth or brush to remove residue and dirt from the upholstery surface. Vacuum the upholstered furniture with a vacuum cleaner attachment designated for use on furniture.

To remove stains from velvet upholstered furniture you should apply a soft, clean cloth to absorb the liquid and dry the stain. Then apply a clean cloth dampened with a dry-cleaning product to remove the stain. Do not apply too much pressure as this can damage the fabric.

Use a steamer to restore the shine to the velvet. For the best possible result, move the steamer in the orientation of the furniture.
