Farfetch Avepark

All projects start from the search for the concept, from the delivery of the space, the site visits, the analysis of the company and the plan to follow, to the choice of which color palette best represents each idea. Farfetch Avepark was one of the most important and exciting projects that the team developed. The teamwork in creating the interiors for the Farfetch brand was pivotal. A lot of different ideas emerged, giving rise to a strong and unique concept. This interior design project allowed us to create a sophisticated but also creative space.

For this project, the brief was clear: to create a headquarters where the brand’s image would be elevated. At the entrance of the modern building, the staircases are the result of an architectural and carpentry work that reflects the design and innovation of the Farfetch brand. The furniture was designed to elevate the quality and luxury that the headquarters conveys.

Ascendi

Ascendi, an asset management company, toll collection service provider and road infrastructure operation and maintenance, was our most recent project under contract as Project Manager. The new company headquarters, in the old and emblematic lithography building in Porto, is a unique and extremely elegant architectural work. Jota Barbosa was hired to execute the interior design and intervene in the store, reception, cafeteria and garden areas.

For the public attendance store the focus was on functionality, safety and proactivity of employees in their day-to-day. An elegant, practical space aligned with the company’s identity, where the predominant concept is that of nature intertwined with communication and innovation.

Hospitality

Magnolia Hotel

Located in the heart of Quinta Do Lago in the Algarve, The Magnolia Hotel is a sophisticated, modern and elegant hotel. In collaboration with an interior design company, Jota Barbosa had the opportunity to endow the hotel with exclusive pieces, chosen with a focus on the comfort and rest of guests and employees. Paying homage to the iconic hotel from the 1950s, The Magnolia Hotel brings a taste of Palm Springs to the Algarve and offers something you won’t find anywhere else in the region.

Jota Barbosa manufactured and installed all the furniture for the rooms in this hotel space. The perfect place to relax and unwind during your vacation in the Algarve. Vibrant and modern, the hotel has 74 elegant rooms and 7 cottages in a vintage style. All rooms have superb, divinely comfortable beds and exquisite luxury furnishings.

Retail

Dano’s Restaurant

At the new addition to Quinta do Lago, Dano’s restaurant, the game is always present. Winner of the Best Bar and Restaurant in the Algarve 2020 award by LUX Life Magazine, Dano’s is a family-friendly sports bar and restaurant in the heart of Quinta do Lago’s new multi-sports center, The Campus.

This was a project carried out by Brian O’ Sullivan Studio, in which our company developed and produced the refined and elegant furniture. The interior space, inspired by a barn and filled with light, delivers a welcoming environment inviting you to come inside to relax and savor the moment.

Scape Restaurant

The restaurant of Mediterranean dishes Scape, inserted in Jumeirah’s Burj Al Arab in Dubai, is a bright and airy space, designed by Jota Barbosa team in partnership with the architecture and design office Kudos Design.

Jota Barbosa selected the Cocktail Collection of the Stylish Club brand to integrate the luxury and refinement furniture of the renowned space.
